Operating from a humble small seafood stall in an alexander area, Melben Seafood was founded By Mr. Melvin Soon in 1979. Following their success in crabs loved by many customers, Melvin then went on to start the first Melben Seafood outlet at Pasir Ris.
The Soon family also expanded their businesses and founded household brands namely Mellben AMK, Mellben TPY (Currently known as Kelly Jie) as well as Uncle Leong. While operating independently, the family came in unison by sharing the same Mandarin brand name 龙海鲜螃蟹王.
Throughout the years, Singapore raves over their heavenly crab dishes and long queues are a common sight at their outlets.
Renowned for their Signature Claypot Crab Bee hoon soup, Melben Seafood is also famous for their Chili Crab and Golden Sand Crab.
With over 40 years’ experience in the serving crab delicacy, Melben Seafood aims to continue providing Singaporeans the unique and flavourful crab dishes.
